The page carries a Playoffs Designation legend (s/y/x/e) and dotted tier-separator lines after rank 4 and rank 7, but at capture no per-row clinch/eliminate badges were rendered and no marker sits exactly at rank 9 - the top-9 cutoff is the league rule. EAST playoff line: NYC FC, 9th, 29 pts/24 GP. WEST playoff line: San Diego FC, 9th, 30 pts/24 GP. Who is closest to the line? EAST - Toronto FC (10th, 29 pts, same 24 GP as NYC) is the single biggest threat: tied on points with the team on the line and unbeaten in their last 5 (W-T-T-W-T), including a most-recent win over league-leading Nashville, while NYC has no wins in its last 5 (L-T-T-T-L). D.C. United (11th, 28 pts, a game in hand) is a secondary chaser. WEST - three clubs are 1 point off San Diego on 29 pts (Real Salt Lake with a game in hand but winless in 5; Minnesota on the same GP, also struggling; LA Galaxy with one more game played and the worst PPG, 1.16), so no single Western chaser dominates; instead San Diego itself is most at-risk inside the top 9 given two straight losses.
